Working Student / Intern (Product & Analytics, App Development)

Help Internities ship faster by pairing analytical rigor with hands-on product execution across our AI-driven internship matching platform.

Reporting

Reports to the COO / CPO

Analytics & decision support

Create and maintain KPI tracking across activation, engagement, retention, and application funnels.
Run structured analyses to surface drop-offs, drivers, and learnings that inform prioritization.
Define matching-quality metrics, check edge cases, and document insights for the team.
Prepare concise weekly updates highlighting insights, risks, priorities, and next actions.

App development support (JavaScript-based)

Implement small-to-medium product features and bug fixes in our modern JavaScript codebase.
Work with Supabase to keep data models, queries, and auth flows clean and maintainable.
Support deployments on Vercel (preview deployments, env vars, lightweight troubleshooting).
Collaborate via GitHub: branching, pull requests, and code review.

Product & operations execution

Translate business needs into clear tasks with user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
Support sprint planning and fast iteration cycles to ship, measure, and improve.
Test releases, document bugs clearly, and verify fixes before launch.
Run ad-hoc research on competitors, user pain points, and lightweight market sizing when needed.

Must-haves

Currently enrolled as a university student (Bachelor or Master).
Exceptionally strong analytical thinking and structured communication.
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with ownership.
Basic JavaScript experience with willingness to learn quickly.
Hands-on familiarity with Vercel, Supabase, and Git/GitHub.
Ability to connect product work to user value, growth, and operational constraints.
Language: German strongly preferred; English working proficiency.

Nice to have

TypeScript, React, or Next.js experience.
SQL confidence for querying and debugging data issues.
Exposure to product analytics, dashboards, or experimentation.
Prior work in startups, consulting, or high-output student organizations.
Interest in matching systems, marketplaces, or responsible AI.
